Little Lever Sports Club proudly stands at the heart of our vibrant local community in Little Lever, Bolton. We are more than just a football club – we are a family of players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters united by a shared passion for the beautiful game and a commitment to the growth and well-being of young people.

Our mission is to provide high-quality football coaching for children and young people aged 4 to 18 in a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment. We believe in the power of sport to inspire, educate, and empower, and we work hard to ensure that every child, regardless of ability or background, has the opportunity to enjoy the game, build confidence, and develop both on and off the pitch.

A Community-Driven Club

At the core of Little Lever Sports Club is a passionate team of more than 45 volunteers. These dedicated individuals take on a wide range of essential roles, from coaching and team management to first aid, fundraising, and running club operations behind the scenes. We’re also fortunate to have many enthusiastic parents and family members who contribute their time, energy, and skills to support our teams and events.

Together, we provide structured training and competitive match experiences for approximately 280 children across a variety of age groups. We are incredibly proud of our inclusive approach, offering opportunities for both boys and girls to participate and progress in the game.

Quality Coaching and Player Development

Our coaching staff bring a wealth of experience and are qualified to deliver engaging, age-appropriate training sessions. With coaching certifications ranging from FA Level 1 to UEFA B Licence, we ensure that all players benefit from high standards of instruction in both technical and tactical aspects of football. More importantly, we prioritise player development, enjoyment, and personal growth over results alone.

Training sessions are designed to be fun, challenging, and rewarding, helping children develop not only their football skills but also their teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence.

A Safe and Supportive Environment

We take the safety and well-being of our players very seriously. Our club adheres strictly to safeguarding policies and works in partnership with the Lancashire FA to uphold the highest standards in child protection, welfare, and coaching ethics.

Beyond the pitch, we encourage a strong sense of belonging and camaraderie among our players and families. Regular social events, team activities, and community engagement initiatives foster lasting friendships and bring people together through a shared love of the game.
